14 DAY TRIAL // Gone are the days when John Mayer would indiscriminately blab about his exes. Though he’s no longer with Katy Perry, he clearly has no intention of dissing her to the media, as his new interview with Ellen DeGeneres confirms.

Obviously, John really is a changed man and he wasn’t just saying that for kicks.
“It was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during and it’s a private relationship, still,” he says, refusing to comment on the reasons of the split.
He does, however, confirm that he and Katy are no longer an item.
“I can understand asking the question based on some previous answers I have given but I have finally learned how to put the wall between one thing and the other,” Mayer continues.
“I’ve been much happier since then. I’m on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing,” he adds before changing the subject.
