14 DAY TRIAL // Jesse James is now in a rehabilitation facility in Arizona, seeking treatment for a problem that has not been mentioned to the press. His attorney and friend Joe Yanny is in full damage-control mode, first urging the world not to jump to conclusions regarding a photo in which he’s seen doing the Nazi salute, and now telling People that he loves wife, Sandra Bullock, more than anything in his life.
It’s no secret that Jesse James and Sandra Bullock are dealing with what could only be deemed a personal crisis. Many women have stepped forward so far to claim they had an affair or a fling with the biker, while he was married to Sandra. A couple of them even say they have proof of the affair in the form of e-mails, text messages and photos, which has turned out to be a serious blow to James’ public image.
Still, even if he did Sandra wrong, that’s not to say he’s not willing to change, make amends and start all over again. “When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there. And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life. [He] is doing as well as he can be. He’s focusing on what he’s doing and trying to make himself better,” Yanni says for People.
Though just recently Yanni also said that 99 percent of what was being written in the media about Jesse James were shameless lies, he’s now adamant that this kind of scrutiny is terribly wrong, saying the First Amendment does not justify prying into regular people’s love life. “This is sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It’s disgusting,” the attorney adds. Jesse James should be allowed privacy to sort out his problems and get back the life he once had.
While James is seeking professional help and refusing to speak to the media first-hand, the woman who first broke the story on his infidelity, alleged mistress number 1 Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, is feuding with Chelsea Handler on the Internet and on TV. So far, it’s 0 to 1 for Chelsea, with the television host giving McGee a verbal smackdown she’s unlikely to forget anytime soon, as we also informed you a few days ago.
