Fans have been praying for such an announcement for years, and it seems it will finally happen: Jennifer Lopez is in talks with none other than Enrique Iglesias, for the possibility of doing a joint world tour.

Nothing is confirmed yet but, according to Billboard, all signs point in the right direction.

Until a publicist for either superstar denies the report, we might as well go by the famous saying that there's never a smoke without a fire – and assume it's at least partially accurate.

“Two Latin pop superstars may be teaming up for a tour this summer: a source reveals to Billboard that Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez are 'in discussions' to join forces on a joint trek,” the music publication reports.

“Although an Iglesias-Lopez bill cannot be confirmed yet, the potential pairing would bring together two early 00s pop phenoms that enjoyed career revitalizations over the past two years,” Billboard further adds.

As the same media outlet explains, both JLo and Enrique are now at the height of their career, with the former more so than the latter because of her stint as a judge on American Idol, but also thanks to media interest in her personal life.

Lopez's latest release is a single called “Dance Again,” another collaboration with Pitbull, which features real-life beau Casper Smart in the official video.

Speaking of which, various groups took offense at the racy video, which shows Jennifer and Casper dancing suggestively in most scenes, while, in others, she seems to be floating on a sea of writhing bodies.

“Even the supposedly family-friendly TV shows like American Idol are never safe in the hands of Hollywood,” Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute said a few days ago, when the video premiered on the show, as we also reported at the time.

“Jennifer Lopez's skanky new video shows how desperate she is to retain her fame despite her fading relevance,” Gainor added, before criticizing the song for its ridiculous and offensive lyrics.
