Jennifer Lopez has a new music video out, for “Dance Again.” While some insist she made a mistake to cast real-life beau Casper Smart as her love interest, right wing groups protest against her apparent loss of all sense of decency.

The full video premiered on American Idol, where JLo is judge and mentor, last week. Reaction to it has been very harsh from some segments of the audience, Radar Online reports.

As we also noted last week, the clip sees Jennifer in all her divalicious glory, dancing and cavorting with other dancers, among whom Casper is also seen.

Certain scenes have a more lewd implication, which is precisely what bothered certain right wing groups, whose members don't believe AI is the right venue to promote such videos.

At the same time, they say Lopez has hit rock bottom in acting like a “skank” to boost interest in her music career.

“Even the supposedly family-friendly TV shows like American Idol are never safe in the hands of Hollywood,” Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute says for Radar.

“Jennifer Lopez's skanky new video shows how desperate she is to retain her fame despite her fading relevance,” Gainor goes on to say.

He also criticizes the lyrics of the song, which include such gems as “Let me open your treasure chest,” and notes that footage and audio of this type is “inappropriate” for the children who might be watching American Idol.

Come to think of it, it would be just as unsuitable for Lopez's twins, Gainor adds, referring to her children with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

The clip also features a very special appearance from Casper Smart, the 25-year-old backup dancer who is now dating Jennifer, and who can be seen in a couple of scenes with a blindfold reading “Love is Blind” on his face.

Below is the video: check it out and judge for yourself whether parents have anything to worry about it airing during American Idol.
