14 DAY TRIAL // If Jennifer Lopez is really dating Bradley Cooper as the media says she is, she'll be the last to confirm it. The star sat down with Glamour magazine for a new interview, stressing she plans to keep her love life private – for now.
For some time, Jennifer has reportedly been dating Cooper. Asked about it a few days ago, she said she didn't want to speak about anything until she knew for certain it was worth speaking about.
She says about the same thing to Glamour, while adding that, for the future, she plans to keep her love life out of the spotlight.
“I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media – they want to rush everything,” she says, making a wonderful point about the way “relationships” are born in the pages of the weeklies.
As for her divorce from Marc Anthony, Jennifer doesn't take just heartbreak from the 6-year marriage: she has also learned a very important life lesson from everything.
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else,” she says.
This statement echoes her first post-divorce interview, in which she hinted that she put herself second to make her marriage work, only to realize eventually that she should have put herself on equal footing.
“You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship,” Lopez further says for the women's magazine.
In the same interview with Glamour, the December 2011 issue, the singer, actress and television personality also talks fashion: since she's coming out with a fashion line for Kohl's, the world wants to know where she gets her inspiration from.
