14 DAY TRIAL // For years, Jennifer Aniston has worn her hair pretty much in the same fashion and she’s rarely stepped out of comfort zone as far as fashion goes. She is currently undergoing a complete makeover that’s bound to make her “edgier,” the perfect partner for fiancé Justin Theroux on any red carpet, and a hair and fashion icon all over again.
The star made headlines just recently after cutting her long hair down to a cute and ultra chic bob. She claimed the decision was based on a very bad experience with the Brazilian blowdry, which is a procedure that uses heavy chemicals to make the hair straight for a few months.
Aniston also had her upper ear pierced and she tweeted a photo of her new accessory.
According to Radar Online, style guru Kate Young is behind the makeover: and they’re just getting started with it.
“Jen’s new look is far from the nonchalant boredom-driven choice that she’s playing it off to be. This change is entirely the creation of Kate, who is so influential in the New York fashion magazine scene. Kate will make sure magazines are using models with Jen’s new hairstyle and overall look by February,” an insider reveals.
The plan is to make Jen at least half as edgy as her fiancé Justin Theroux, who favors biker chic clothes and accessories, including chains and, of course, plenty of leather. By transforming her, her style guru is certain she will also make her America’s sweetheart once more but, this time, she will be a sweetheart with a certain edge.
“Kate and Jen planned to match her style with Justin’s a little bit more. But also, they really want to see how far they can push the rest of America. Kate has reignited Jen’s interest in being America’s primary hairstyle and fashion trendsetter,” says the tipster.
Admittedly, the change will also be reflected in Aniston’s wardrobe, who has already started clearing out her closet to make room for the new items. She’s not donating or reselling the old ones though, but rather cutting them to pieces and tossing them to the garbage bin.
It’s what she did to a $5,000 (€3,689) cocktail dress just recently, the unnamed source says for Radar.
“Jen cuts up some of her expensive clothes and puts them in the recycling bin because she doesn’t want them to end up on EBay. Her wardrobe now has a lot more jeans and boots as she’s making room for Kate’s new styles,” says the spy.
If that last part is true, it’s just nasty to throw away such expensive items when she could probably do a world of good with them and help many people in need.
