14 DAY TRIAL // Ever since Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston were both attached to “The Bounty,” rumors started circulating that the attraction they felt was so strong they could hardly keep their hands off each other. Therefore, against their better judgment, they started dating, sources say. Despite denials from all sides, a recent report from Radar Online indicates that the two are, indeed, an item.
Butler and Aniston continue to work on the film and to keep up appearances that there’s nothing more between them than just a close working relationship. Still, every once in a while they feel the need for some PDA and run to kiss and talk when they think no one is looking, which means mostly when they’ve wrapped up a scene and the cameras are no longer rolling, an unnamed insider tells Radar.
“We saw him give her a little kiss.” a source from the set at the Belmont Park race track parking lot tells Radar. “They were very lovey-dovey. We watched them at one point start to hold hands, but she pulled back because she realized people were watching.” the spy adds. However, even if passionate, the source describes the relationship as “cool and sweet,” without any kind of pressure from either side. As a matter of fact, the spy who has seen how Butler and Aniston act around each other reveals, they sure seem they’re taking the relationship slowly, one step at a time, and having lots of fun at the same time.
“Jen and Gerard were joking around and he started to feed her popcorn and peanuts. He was popping them in her mouth and she was laughing while eating. The director came over and said ‘What are you guys doing?’ and then joked ‘We’re doing peanuts in another scene, where did you get that?’ Jen said ‘Props’ and the props guy put his hand up as if to say ‘guilty.’ They look like they’re in the beginning phase of a relationship that’s really nice.” the same insider tells Radar.
As fans must remember, at one point, when the dating rumors had reached a never-before-seen intensity, Gerard Butler chose to address them himself. In his typical humorous take on most things related to being a celebrity, the actor said at the time that he was in love with Aniston and was planning to marry. Days after the nuptials, he would also marry Cameron Diaz and then, shortly afterwards, Joan Collins, Butler joked.
