The Road Safety Authority’s National Driver License Service in Ireland has exposed the details of users who have made queries via the website’s Contact US section.

According to RTE, the Contact Us form on the site retained queries, which meant that users could see what information others had submitted.

A total of 721 people are said to be impacted, but the organization’s representatives say they don’t believe any financial information has been compromised because such data is not submitted on the site.

Affected people are being contacted by the Road Safety authority. The country’s Data Protection Commissioner has been notified of the incident.

The agency is working on addressing the issue and it plans on reviewing its processes to make sure that such breaches don’t happen in the future.

The form on the Contact Us section of the National Driver License Service website has been removed.

Of course, this data breach doesn’t compare to the one suffered by Loyaltybuild, in which the full credit card details of hundreds of thousands of people have been compromised.
