Given the fact that the official release of Intel's Oak Trail Atom CPUs is getting nearer and nearer, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that more and more tablet designs built around it are starting to make an appearance on the market, the latest we've come across being the DreamBook ePad F10 model, the creation of Australian company Pioneer Computers.

This is not the first DreamBook introduced by the Aussie outfit, but manages to take their design to a while new level, the 10.1-inch ultra-portable computing system offering an Intel Atom Z670 1.5Ghz Oak Trail Lincroft CPU, accompanied by Intel Oak Trail Whitnet Point core logic and Intel built-in graphics.

Moreover, the device offers plenty of storage options (16G/32G/64G/128G SSD models are available), while also packing up to 2GB DDR2 memory, this whole configuration being powerful enough to run either the Windows 7 or the Android operating systems (both options are available).

Additional features worth mentioning about the DreamBook include the Azalia Codec support with 2.1 channel output, a built-in Mic and 2 stereo speakers, plus plenty of networking (802.11 b/g/n, 3G/3.5G), wireless (WiDi, Bluetooth) and wired (2-in-1 SD/MMC card reader, HDMI, Kensington Lock, USB2.0, MIC/ Line out jacks) connectivity options, as well as a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam module.

Last, but certainly not least, we'll have to mention that the DreamBook's estimate functioning life is set at around 8 hours, while carrying it around shouldn't prove to be much of a problem, since it measures 242.8 x 175 x 15mm and weighs less then 700 grams.

Luckily, it seems that those interested in the DreamBook ePad won't have to wait too long for it, since the device is scheduled to go on sale as soon as the Oak Trail platforms becomes official, probably at some point in March 2011.
