The economic, security, reliability, and delivery advantages of SaaS can give companies a real competitive advantage,” the company notes. Google Apps is one of the global leaders in SaaS, and has been already adopted by more than 2 million companies, with many others adopting it every day.

What businesses receive from the adoption of Google Apps includes simple to use and powerful messaging and collaboration applications, such as Google Docs document, spreadsheet and presentation sharing and editing, Google Calendar, Google Groups, Google Mail, Google Talk chat and instant messaging, Google Video for internal video sharing, or Google Sites intranet for knowledge sharing.

“Insight is a strong advocate of the SaaS model and we see this as an excellent opportunity to partner with a market leader in this space. Our approach to technology goes beyond mere implementation and instead provides real business guidance on technology adoption and deployment. Insight provides Google Enterprise with expertise in helping clients manage & deploy software across diverse IT environments, from small and medium sized clients up to and including the most complex large, global clients,” noted Stuart Fenton, president Insight EMEA. At the same time, he also added that a large number of Global Fortune 500 clients are currently seeing Insight as a trusted advisor for software.

Kai Gutzeit, head of Google Enterprise DACH & Nordics added that Google Enterprise had a series of offerings specifically tailored for business users, including Google Apps Premier Edition, and that one of the main focuses was on the services and support customers received. “In order to accurately gauge the market and achieve appropriate sales growth, cooperation with our partners is of the utmost importance. Insight is one of the world’s leading single-source providers of top name-brand business-to-business IT solutions and services. Therefore I am absolutely delighted that we are working with Insight in Germany, Austria and Switzerland,” he concluded.
