Mobile phone users in the UK should soon be able to choose yet another attractive handset that is expected to become available in the country in early October on 3 UK's airwaves, the INQ Mini 3G. One of the most attractive features is the fact that it includes a native Twitter client, yet connectivity to other social networking sites is also available, including Facebook.

In addition, the INQ Mini 3G provides users with access to Skype, instant messaging or ‘IMAP’ email services such as Hotmail, not to mention that all the social networking features packed inside this device come at a price much lower than that sported by other similar handsets. To be more precise, Omio notes that the phone will come to 3 UK customers for free on contract with a £15 per month Internet Texter plan, while being priced at £59.99 for prepaid users.

The specifications list of the handset shows a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT landscape display, as well as a 2-megapixel photo snapper, 100MB of internal memory coupled with a micoSD memory card slot that supports up to 8GB of additional storage space, a built-in HSDPA modem (to deliver high-speed wireless broadband both on PCs and Macs), Brew 4.0 and Java MIDP 2.0, as well as an active address book that sports integration with Twitter.

The features of the INQ Mini 3G reportedly include background updates for Twitter, changeable rear covers, one-touch access to Twitter, and an attractive look. Not to mention the fact that 3 UK customers, both on contract and prepaid ones, will also receive free Skype-to-Skype calls and Windows Messenger access. Those of you who already know what INQ can put inside one of these social networking-centric devices will certainly wait for the new INQ Mini 3G to become available for purchase. October is not that far into the future, so stay tuned to learn when the phone goes on sale in the UK.
