INQ unveiled recently two new mobile phones designed to deliver “mobile Internet to the mass market,” the Mini 3G and Chat 3G. The new handsets come to the market with a custom Brew operating system, just as the INQ1, and offer users the possibility to stay connected to social networking sites at all times, browse the Internet or check their email.

The two phones sport a native Twitter application developed by INQ in collaboration with the microblogging service. In addition, users will also have the opportunity to enjoy one-click apps for Facebook, Skype, IM, along with push Gmail. At the same time, both handsets enable music and video syncing from PC and Mac machines.

According to the company, the sync software is powered by doubleTwist and is compatible with both iTunes and WMP. In addition, it seems that the solution allows people to continue using their favorite media player on the computer while also enjoying the possibility to seamlessly sync music, videos and photos with their INQ handset.

The specs list of the new INQ Chat 3G shows a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT landscape display, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, built-in GPS receiver, 120MB of internal memory and a memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space, support for a wide range of audio and video file formats, as well as for audio and video streaming, all within a 114.5mm x 61.0mm x 12.8mm device.

The INQ Mini 3G comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA TFT landscape display, a 2.0-megapixel camera, 100MB of internal memory that can be expanded to up to 8GB through a memory card slot, a built-in plug-and-play HSDPA modem, and support for AMR, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+(Audio only), MIDI, MP3, WAV and MPEG4, H.263, H.264 file formats, as well as audio and video streaming. The handset measures 102.9mm x 45.8mm x 12.8mm.

The company also announced that the new Mini 3G was expected to become available for purchase starting with September this year, while the Chat 3G will come one month later, in October. They should come on 3's airwaves in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Italy, Australia and Hong Kong, featuring price tags of less than $150 for the Mini, and less than $200 for the Chat.
