14 DAY TRIAL // While Heidi Montag is gearing up for her comeback in reality television with a brand new show, one person that we will be seeing less of is her husband, Spencer Pratt. He’s been banned from the new series, it has emerged.
Fans must already know that Heidi and Spencer caused quite a ruckus on the set of MTV’s “The Hills,” with reports often saying that he was always in producers’ face, trying to get them to do things his way regardless of consequences.
To keep him from doing the same on the set of the new show, producers are taking proactive measures against Spencer, TMZ reports: by banning him from it altogether.
“Spencer Pratt is persona non grata on set at Heidi Montag’s new show ‘Famous Food,’ TMZ has learned – in fact, we’re told producers are so serious ... they issued an all out ban on the reality star,” the e-zine says.
“Sources connected with the restaurant-themed VH1 reality show tell TMZ, Spencer’s been banned from the set since day one – and Heidi herself AGREED to the injunction,” TMZ adds.
Not only is Spencer not allowed on set, but he’s also barred from intervening or making any suggestion on the show from start to finish.
“We’re told producers were adamant... Spencer wasn’t allowed on the set, near the set, or to be involved in any way whatsoever,” TMZ says.
Because she’s out to re-launch her career as a reality star, Heidi agreed to all the conditions presented to her, even if that meant banishing her husband from the show.
TMZ says that Spencer too agreed to do as producers told him. So far, he’s been true to his word, but, knowing Spencer, that can change in an instant, TMZ points out.
As we also reported over the weekend, the new series will show Montag and other celebrities trying to get a restaurant business off the ground.
Presumably, it will also include some details about the extensive plastic surgeries Heidi got on her face and body.
