Hubey, a company specialized in developing embedded computing solutions, has just announced the release of a Post-it sized computer module, that is able to decode two HD video streams at the same time.

This computing module is called the Habey SOM-6670 E6XX Tunnel Creek Qseven and, just as its name implies, is based on Intel's Tunnel Creek platform that is also used in the Boxee Box and Logitech Revue media players.

At the heart of this board stands an Intel Atom E600-series processor, which can range in speed between 600MHz and 1.6GHz.

The TDP of these chips goes from 3.3W to 7W, depending on the model chosen, but all of them come equipped with the Intel GMA600 graphics core that is based on a 400 MHz PowerVR SGX mobile GPU.

Outside of decoding support for Full HD video streams, the PowerVR SGX graphics engine also supports 720p MPEG2 and H.264 video encoding, as well as an assortment of other technologies including OpenGL 2.0 and DirectX 10.1 Shader Model 4.1.

In order to use the Habey board, consumers will have to pair it with mini-ITX carrier board which provides additional connectivity as well as support for 2GB of DDR2 memory.

The carrier board includes six USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet connectors, two serial ports, one CAN Bus, two Serial ATA ports, one SD card reader, one mini-PCIe slot and a PCIe x1 slot.

To showcase the power of the SOM-6670 E6XX Tunnel Creek Qseven, Habey has released a video that showcases the board decoding two HD videos at the same time, one on a 1080p monitor and the other on a 1280x768 pixel notebook display.

Pricing for the SOM-6670 and its carrier board hasn't been disclosed yet.
