Isn't it hilarious? Even big companies like Sony get confused with their own work. It seems that what should have been artwork for a new preview trailer for the downloadable Gran Turismo HD, available for free on PlayStation Store, is in fact a picture of something that isn't GT HD at all, but an Xbox 360 title. It is actually a screenshot from the Xbox 360 game Project Gotham Racing 3.

If Sony hopes to sell its PS3 console at the price it claims (in order to cover manufacturing costs), then how on Earth are they going to do it when they have smaller problems for which they still haven't got a solution? It looks like Sony has stumbled upon its own mistakes too many times and now Sony itself has become a problem.

Here are some words from a very disappointed "almost going to buy a PS3" person, which I found in the comments column on GameSpot:

"Gotta say, that was huge mistake on Sony's part...Was gonna get a PS3, but seriously whats the point now...look at all the crazy amazing games X360 has coming out...everything that I see that looks somewhat good on PS3 will be out on X360, such as in VF5 and Unreal2007. Sony has offically put its foot in its mouth. With this much hype around the console war right now, and negative hype around sony this was the last thing they needed. I feel sorry for the guy (or girl) thats gonna be out of a job and not able to find a job over this dumb mistake. Reguardless, this is the kind of attention Sony doesnt need at this point...they really need to start pulling out of such a horrible launch."

It's pretty amazing what a small mistake can cost a big company like Sony but one opinion alone can't be fully taken into consideration.
