Former Playboy bunny Holly Madison has received more than a fair share of criticism from the media for her weight gain but she’s no longer hiding. In a stunning new photospread, for which she refused to have her image airbrushed, the glamour girl fights back: “I love food.”

Madison has never been even close to overweight but, the industry being what she is, she was told to lose weight for her new reality show.

Instead of complying, she went public with the whole thing, saying that it’s in no way acceptable to be told she needed to be thinner when she’d only gained a few pounds.

The latest spread and interview would also serve the same purpose, namely to show the women at home that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and that being healthy is all that matters at the end of the day.

“I love chicken fingers, I love French fries. I love desserts. I’m not just into dessert of just into savory food. I love it all. I’m a pig. I love food. So it takes a lot of discipline to eat healthy,” Holly says in the interview, as cited by the Daily Mail.

While refusing to go on a diet to lose the extra weight, the increased attention on her fuller figure has made her realize she needed to overhaul her diet because she was simply not paying attention to her body anymore.

“Recently, I’ve really gotten my eating habits back on track. [I have] a protein bar for breakfast, fruit as a snack and a healthy chicken salad for lunch. Then I will get a grilled chicken breast for dinner, with avocado and vegetables on the side. I love adding BBQ sauce too,” she says.

She also exercises more these days, Holly reveals. Her favorite workout remains Pilates, though she does other exercises as well.

“I have a treadmill in my house, which is great because even if I jump on it for a little bit, it makes me feel better. I love yoga and Pilates too. I have a private Pilates instructor I go to once a week,” she explains.

Madison may have embraced her curves, but she’s realistic about her body: there still are parts she would like to change or that will never make her feel entirely happy.

“If I could have a Barbie body, which has no cellulite, I totally would. I would like to have a flatter stomach, but that won’t happen either. That is never going to happen. No matter how much weight I lose, my stomach, below the belly button, always pooches out,” she says.
