And several other less impressive performances

Hisense looked to impress at this year's edition of the Canton Fair by bringing one of its most evolved devices. One feature on this handset which will surely appeal to the Chinese market is that it also supports handwriting recognition.

For people who normally use languages which need a different type of letters than those used by English, for example, the Hisense D9817 mobile phone might turn out to be just the right thing. The touchscreen feature is among the most popular at this time, which has high chances of appealing to a large number of people.

The design for Hisense D9817 looks great, although it might turn out to be rather difficult to use. The phone comes with a 2.2 inch display screen and keypad with randomly arranged buttons. Moreover, the menu navigation one is placed in the center of the keypad, which might lead to accidental pressing of other keys. Aside from this, it looks great in its smooth metallic finish with the innovative design and only 15.2 mm in thickness.

When it comes to performances, Hisense D9817 has a 1.3 megapixel camera, which turns out to be quite disappointing. Moreover, it is capable of Internet browsing through a WAP browser, which proves that good looks don't necessarily mean high performances coming from mobile phones.

The phone is capable of supporting a large number of media files, which makes it excellent for playing videos and viewing images. In order to provide enough space for the user to enjoy these capabilities, it comes with 40Mb of internal memory and also a microSD expansion slot.

Hisense D9817 will be available from now on for the Chinese market. The price for it has not been revealed and neither the exact date when people will have the chance to purchase and enjoy it.
