14 DAY TRIAL // Developed by the creators the original Command & Conquer games, Highborn mobile game for iPhone has just received new multiplayer features. Announced by Jet Set Games, the company behind the release, the highly-acclaimed turn-based strategy game for the iPhone and iPod Touch, is now part of the OpenFeint social gaming community.
Besides the integration with the OpenFeint platform for multiplayer gaming, Highborn also includes a new achievements system along with various improvements and enhancements, such as: more than 20 single-player and multiplayer achievements to unlock; player-to-player chat; significant improvements to mission loading times; enhanced map mode performance; various bug fixes; removed Facebook-based multiplayer (all existing Facebook multiplayer games will be deleted in this update).

The multiplayer part of the game invites players to an amazing strategical and tactical experience without the rushing play of a traditional RTS. Gamers will be able to move their forces around a map to secure spells and combat support, then experience 3D combat.
Jet Set Games revealed its plans to release an additional single- and multi-player gameplay for Highborn in the form of in-app downloadable content. Also, an iPad version of Highborn will be available for release later this summer.
The latest version for Highborn is now available for download on the iTunes App Store and will be on sale for only $.99 beginning Saturday, July 31 through Sunday, August 8.
