Now that MTV has announced that this season of “The Hills” will also be the last, Heidi Montag is about to try her hand at the reality game on her own. The star, notorious for recently undergoing an astonishing ten different surgical procedures in just one day, is telling People magazine that the world is yet to see the real Heidi – and it will only catch a glimpse of her real life once her show is on air.

Though until just recently Montag was determined to kick-start a career in feature films, since her ties with reality television were all but severed, it would seem that she’s had a change of heart. Before making a name for herself on the silver screen, Heidi (and presumably husband Spencer Pratt too) will attempt to launch her own reality show. Details for the project are not yet available, but it is believed she may already have a network to carry it, now that interest in her life is still peaking after the much-mediated makeover made possible via plastic surgery.

“I couldn’t be more excited to move on [from ‘The Hills’]. I’ve been doing this since I was 18 on this show – on the reality of The Hills. And now I’m ready to show my reality. They’re very different. The Hills is a reality show about their reality – their narration, their editing, their point of view, their characters. My reality is my life. Let’s just say I have the footage of my 10 [cosmetic-surgery] procedures,” she says for People.

“Montag also downplayed rumors that she and husband Spencer Pratt are on the rocks, saying they’re planning to spend some time in Latin America soon to regroup. ‘We love each other, and I think that’s the most important thing,’ she says. As for her career, she reiterated her desire, first voiced on Twitter, to succeed Angelina Jolie in the role of Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie. ‘I actually have been training with guns and knives for years,’ she says. ‘An action star would definitely be my dream role’,” People says.

Those fearing that all these wonderful plans might be put on hold by a baby can breathe a sigh of relief, as Heidi also reveals she’s far too young to have children now. Spencer doesn’t want a baby either and, since she’s been through so much just recently, it’s a relief for Heidi to say that all baby plans are on indefinite hold.
