Finally some new concrete information about the upcoming arcade-style racing game, Test Drive Unlimited, has come out. This game will be released on all available platforms in the month of February, except the Xbox 360, platform that already saw Test Drive Unlimited this September, as decided by Atari.

The game will have many new features as you will be able to drive your car through 1,500 square meters of Hawaian mainland. More than 30 licensed cars will be available in the game, including brands like: Mercedes, Lamborgini, Aston Martin, Shelby, Jaguar and Saleen.

Gamers will be able to customize their cars with parts and upgrades from the actual manufactures' catalog but also some aftermarket parts will be available. If you try out Test Drive Unlimited you will be able to purchase homes with garages where you can keep your cars. You can create your own challenges, and then you can upload them online, in order to become a member of the player community.

A grading system has been introduced, and players are awarded points for racing, drifting, winning races, and air time and they can use these points to unlock new races and cars. This system is called the Master Points system.
