With Il Giro behind the cycling world, everyone is eagerly awaiting the beginning of Le Tour, the biggest competition of the year. Fans of cycling who are also gamers can look forward to the launch of Pro Cycling Manager 2010, the simulation of the sport that developer Cyanide puts out every year. And as the release date nears, the developers have offered both the minimum and recommended hardware requirements for the title.

The minimum requirements for Pro Cycling Manager 2010 are:

Processor: Pentium 4 2.2 Ghz or Athlon XP 2800+ Memory: 1 GB of RAM on Windows XP or 2 GB on Windows 7 Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 6600 or ATI Radeon X700 or better with 128 MB of RAM Hard drive space: 6 GB free Sound card: any device compatible with DirectX 9.0.

Players will be able to use integrated graphics controllers from Intel as long as they are better than the GMA X4500. The developers are also saying that an Internet connection is needed for online multiplayer matches and, presumably, in order to activate Pro Cycling Manager 2010.

The recommended requirements are:

Processor: Any AMD or Intel processor with the clock ticking at over 2.6 Ghz Memory: 2GB of RAM regardless of the operating system Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT or ATI Radeon X1900 or better with 512 MB of RAM Hard drive space: 6 GB free Sound card: any device compatible with DirectX 9.0.

Pro Cycling Manager 2010 will benefit from a new graphics engine that is set to better show off the world of cycling, with more details offered for each rider and with the power to show off the beauty of the races. There are also improved simulation elements with a new Season option allowing players to choose their races and customize their experience. The title includes a powerful editor for all the enthusiasts willing to create their own races and teams.
