It’s all a plot not to make it seem like she got dumped, report says

Just days ago, Hailey Glassman, Jon Gosselin’s steady girlfriend for many months now, was telling the media that she had reached the boiling point and simply needed to speak out on his abusive behavior towards her. Hours later, Gosselin himself addressed the claims, while, even later, reports emerged that the two had broken up. According to People magazine, Glassman is again speaking out on the same topic.

This time, though, it’s to thank all those who got her back for the “brutal honesty” she showcased in her latest interview. Glassman, also the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed a tummy tuck on Jon’s soon-to-be ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, is taking to her Twitter page to tell those who’ve showed their support that she deeply appreciates all they’ve done for her. However, insiders whisper, there might be more to this than meets the eye.

“I just want to thank everyone for their support. I was brutally honest and put everything out on the table infront [sic] of the entire world,” Hailey Glassman wrote on her Twitter. Be that as it may and no matter how sincere her words sound, a source close to her tells the aforementioned magazine that there’s much more to this story than the two “protagonists” are willing to have out in the open: namely, that this entire charade was orchestrated in such a way so as not to let people see that Glassman was, in fact, dumped by Gosselin.

“This was all a carefully orchestrated sequence: First, Hailey laments how hard her life has been lately and how bad Jon treats her, then Jon repents. Next, Jon plans to announce that he is going to be spending some time alone. It has all been designed so that it doesn’t seem as though Hailey got dumped,” the unnamed, but reportedly very reliable, insider reveals for People.

Of course, the entire thing was not set up to protect Glassman’s feelings as one might be initially tempted to believe. Reports in the US media say that Jon Gosselin needed a way out of the relationship to focus on his career, but he needed to get out in a fashion that would not make him the bad guy: with the apologies and saying he supported Hailey in everything she said and did (including bad-mouthing him), he seems to have found his way.
