New look, same phone

HTC has just announced that it will release the HTC Touch in a new silver color in the future. This comes after the wasabi green version proved to inexplicably have little success, as the greenish shade looks great on the Touch shine.

In fact, there are so many silvery phones out there that it sounds a bit disappointing to hear that this is the new innovation coming from HTC. The new metallic look that HTC Touch has just received due to the new color is certainly colder and more serious. Until now, the handset has had an elegant personality. Now it looks more stylish, so the producer had no chance of proving wrong with this handset.

Other than that, specifications for the phone are just about the same, with the new Silvery color being just something that might be suitable for the Christmas season. It's a nice way of celebrating the round sales number of 800,000 that HTC has managed to reach with this smartphone. The company has released lately a great number of highly evolved devices, making tough competition for its own Touch phone, without any intention.

HTC Touch is the first handset coming from this producer to use the TouchFLO interface that has also been put into a large number of the mobile phones to come. The phone uses Windows Mobile 6 and a 2.8 inch touchscreen to interact with the user. It also includes a 2 megapixel camera and a large number of connectivity solutions, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and miniUSB. The phone has reached a great popularity level after being seen as a strong potential "iPhone killer" right since its release.

The silvery HTC Touch will be available starting this November, at devicewire. Its price will reach 260 pounds.
