Some models of HTC's hit device, the Touch HD, have been experiencing certain difficulties in rising to the expectations of users, due to some blockage issues. While these are not very significant problems, since the solution is right at hand, users might as well consider it.

If your Touch HD occasionally stops responding, and afterwards takes a few seconds for the image to catch up with what's actually going on on your mobile, then you needn't worry anymore since HTC has just put out a new fix download on its support page. After installing it and following all the instructions, you should not be experiencing this kind of issues anymore with your device – other than that, this should also enhance the mobile's response time in most applications.

In order to make sure you have the same problem with your mobile as the one detailed above, following is HTC’s description of the issue: “Sometimes the screen stops responding for about 3 to 5 seconds when running an application that needs to use the stylus to click the screen repeatedly within a short time. For example, the windows built-in software like SMS, email, solitaire, etc.”

Now, to solve the problem, follow these steps exactly: first, you must check your computer has MicrosoftActiveSync installed, should it be running Windows XP; if it has Windows Vista on it, WindowsMobileDeviceCenteron will be required. If your PC is not equipped with such a program, you will be able to find both on HTC's support page. In any case, after checking or installing the previous mentioned programs, connect your device to the PC and then simply download the hot fix from the web page by clicking on the corresponding link.

After downloading it on your device, go to the .exe file, and follow the other set of instructions to install the fix on your mobile. Know that, if you perform a hard reset, the installation procedure must be repeated, since it will become inactive.
