Mobile phone users in Canada will probably rejoice upon learning that Telus, one of the wireless carriers in the country, plans to soon add more handsets to its offering. While the fact that the BlackBerry Tour 9630 will become available with the operator as soon as July 15 has already been unveiled to the world, now we learn that two Windows Mobile-powered devices are about to make their way to the carrier's lineup too.

Best Buy Mobile has slipped into the wild some details on the upcoming devices that the mobile phone carrier will release in the near future, and we can spot there the HTC Snap and the HTC Touch Pro2, two handsets that should come to the market with Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, while also being eligible for upgrade to the 6.5 iteration of the operating system.

Although there are no exact details on when the phones will become available with the operator, Best Buy Mobile shows them as “Coming Soon,” which means that users in the country won't have to wait too long before being able to purchase them. Moreover, Mobile Syrup also notes that the flyer on which they surfaced shows handsets to be launched before July 30, meaning that the release date could be closer than expected.

When it comes to the price tags the two devices should come to the carrier's shelves with, it seems that the HTC Snap is expected to cost $449.99, while the touchscreen-enabled Touch Pro2 will go for $549.99. The prices are full retail, yet no details on how much they might cost on contract have surfaced. For what it's worth, it seems that this will be a busy month for the wireless carrier, so we're eager to hear more on its plans. Stay tuned to learn the details as soon as they become available.
