On Tuesday, mobile phone carrier Three UK went official with plans to make the new HTC Sensation available for purchase on its airwaves starting with June, and the company has already put the device on a coming soon page on its airwaves.

The new device, expected to become the next flagship Android model from HTC, will be released on the market in the UK via Vodafone at first, but it seems that the operator will lose its exclusivity fast.

The new mobile phone sports a wide range of high-end features, which were meant to prove that it earns its name.

Some of the most appealing features it comes to the market with include a dual-core 1.2GHz application processor, complemented by 1GB of RAM, along with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, and an 8MP camera on the back.

“HTC Sensation has all the high-end features of its older brother the popular HTC Desire HD, as well as some new and exciting additions. It comes with an 8MP camera with LED flash – this is a great feature for those of you that are budding photographers,” Three UK notes on its blog.

“HTC Sensation still comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen with a much thinner and sleaker design. It’s now fitted with a Dual-core processor and runs on Gingerbread, version 2.3 of Android which means it’s a lot quicker than some other models for things such as browsing and applications.”

Other specs of the new device would also include a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, as well as 3G connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, 3.5mm headphone jack, or built-in GPS receiver.

The mobile phone runs under Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and sports a new HTC Sense UI on top of it, which brings forth a new lockscreen, various other features, enhanced support for social networking sites, and more.

According to Three UK, users would certainly grow fond of the new Facebook video chat capabilities that HTC Sensation packs, which would go along well with its 1.3MP front facing camera, as well as with the all-you-can-eat data on the One Plan on the carrier's network.

The HTC Sensation can be seen on the coming soon section on Three UK's website. More info on the handset are available in the video below.
