HTC Sensation, the latest flagship Android-based mobile phone from Taiwanese handset vendor HTC Corporation, is now available for pre-order in the UK with service agreements on the airwaves of O2, Orange, Three and T-Mobile.

The handset was already launched on Vodafone's network in the country, but it seems that the wireless carrier did not have an extended exclusivity period on it.

Those UK users who would like to acquire the new device with a contract agreement on O2 or Orange should head over to the Carphone Warehouse for that.

The handset goes for free on £35 monthly plans at Orange, and can be purchased for the same price on £41 monthly deals at O2.

A wider range of deals is available through third-party retailer BuyMobilePhones.net, which has the smartphone available on for O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three customers.

The handset is listed at this retailer as available for free on monthly plans that start at £30 on Three and T-Mobile, at £32 on O2's network, and at £35 via Orange.

Unfortunately, no specific release date has been unveiled so far, but we should expect the phone to be put on shelves in the following few weeks.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the HTC Sensation was unveiled only a few months ago, with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display on board, which can deliver a 540 x 960-pixels resolution.

It packs a dual-core 1.2GHz application processor inside, complemented by 1GB of internal memory, capable of providing users with great performance capabilities.

The mobile phone also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording, auto focus and dual-LED flash, and a front-facing camera for video calling.

The mobile phone runs under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, with the latest flavor of HTC's Sense user interface loaded on it.
