HTC fans who have been disappointed by the latest news regarding company’s plans to drop the Beats Audio technology from future devices have now a reason to rejoice.

The Taiwanese mobile phone maker has officially confirmed plans to continue using Beats in its handsets, refuting previous rumors that it would plan otherwise.

“The integration of the Beats brand and technology in the new HTC One series is a clear indication of our commitment to this partnership” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

The vendor remains committed to Beats By Dre, based on the fact that its devices packing the technology have already proved successful.

“Media speculation that ties this announcement to HTC’s partnership and investment in Beats By Dre is categorically inaccurate,” Peter Chou stated, SlashGear reports.

“HTC and Beats have made impressive progress in innovation and brand awareness and the integration of the Beats brand and technology in the new HTC One series is a clear indication of our commitment to this partnership.”

Additionally, the company announced that it made some changes to its upper management, through moving CFO Winston Yung to a “corporate development role.”

Following the change, Chia-Lin Chang will act as chief financial officer of HTC Corporation, the company officially announced.

It’s still unclear why the company chose to replace Winston Yung as CFO. Apparently, he had something to do with the adoption of Beats Audio inside HTC smartphones.

HTC has launched highly appealing smartphones this year, expected to help it regain the strength lost in front of Samsung on the Android segment in the past few years.

Three appealing devices were included in HTC’s this year lineup so far, namely the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V, with the first of them packing a quad-core application processor capable of pretty impressive performance capabilities. All three run under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
