The highly anticipated HTC Raider is about to make its debut in Canada, as the smartphone will be available via Bell and Rogers carriers by the end of the year.

No official confirmation has been received yet, but internal documents leaked recently indicate that the HTC Raider will soon go live at Rogers and Bell.

Also known as HTC Holiday, the LTE-enabled smartphone will be introduced in the United States as well as on AT&T's airwaves. Even though release dates for both carriers are still unknown, rumors point to November launch.

According to MobileSyrup, HTC Raider will be available for purchase from Rogers for as low as $149.99 (107 EUR) with a new three-year agreement.

There is no information regarding the phone's suggested retail price, but Bell will be selling its HTC Raider 4G LTE for $499.95 (357 EUR) outright, rumors claim.

HTC Raider will be Rogers' second LTE device, after Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, which is expected to be shipped next week.

However, the carrier plans to launch a third LTE-enabled smartphone by the end of the year, the Motorola RAZR, which will be available for $149.99 (107 EUR) with a three-year contract.

Rogers HTC Raider is not just another LTE smartphone, it's a real 'beast' with its 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.

Moreover, the superphone boasts a superior 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities and a secondary 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.

The phone also embeds a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), LTE support, Wi-Fi hotspot and built-in GPS receiver.

Although the phone is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, HTC Raider might be among the first HTC phones to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade due to its high-end configuration.

Still, this has yet to be confirmed by both Samsung and Rogers.
