There’s no word on the smartphone’s pricing options yet

Although HTC announced it would bring its One series of smartphones on the market as early as April, it looks like not all Americans will be able to grab their favorite HTC One device this month.

Even though HTC and Sprint announced the upcoming availability of the HTC EVO 4G LTE, which is a carrier-bounded HTC One XL, the smartphone won’t hit shelves until June.

However, it appears that T-Mobile USA and HTC plan to release another One family device earlier than June. According to TmoNews, HTC One S will be launched on April 25 at T-Mobile USA.

There’s no word on price tag yet, but this one should cost around $200 (150 EUR) with a new two-year agreement. If the carrier decides to price the HTC One S anything higher than that, it might lower its competitiveness in comparison with other devices in the same range.

As a matter of fact an internal document leaked online offers us a hint as to where exactly the carrier plans to position the HTC One S.

The screenshot taken from a T-Mobile ad shows four smartphones that might be in the same price range: T-Mobile HTC One S, Verizon Motorola DROID 4, AT&T iPhone 4S and Sprint HTC EVO 3D.

All in all, the smartphone offers users 4G HSPA + (42Mbps) support for T-Mobile USA’s network and a large 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen display. In addition, the One S is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich integrated with HTC Sense UI.

The phone is equipped with a dual core Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 225 GPU, 16 GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM.

There’s also an impressive 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
