Users of a Windows Phone 7 device from HTC should enjoy an upgraded experience offered by the HTC Hub in their devices, which has been updated recently.

It appears that the new update from HTC was meant mainly at enabling Windows Phone 7 owners taste weather live tiles on their handsets.

The new live tiles should deliver weather info straight to the Windows Phone 7 Start screen, a recent article on the unwired reads.

Moreover, it seems that the software solution was meant to provide users with the possibility to select for these weather updates to include info on the current location, or on a predefined place.

At the same time, the upgraded HTC Hub would offer a weather outlook, and was also designed to show thumbnails for some featured applications, though they are unusable, it seems.

The HTC Hub is nothing more than the customization that HTC was allowed to pack with its Windows Phone 7 devices.

It seems that, while the initial version did not include too many of the features that were present on the company's HTC Sense solution, included with the previous Windows Mobile-based handsets from the vendor, additional capabilities would be added into the mix in the near future.

Among the enhancements that HTC might still add to the HTC Hub, we can count animations in the live tile, complemented by more useful live tile updates from the company, such as HTC Stocks, the unwired states.

HTC's Sense interface might not come to Windows Phone 7 devices from the company, since Microsoft was pretty clear about its stance on the matter, but parts of it would certainly arrive there.

Of course, the operating system itself comes with a series of such features too, and the live tiles offer users the possibility to stay up to date with various aspects of their lives.

The new, updated HTC Hub is available from HTC's Marketplace category.
