Many have been waiting for HTC to bring their first 3D-capable mobile phone to the market in the UK, and it seems that it should not be long before the company makes this move.

The HTC EVO 3D is said to be on its way to the UK market as soon as September 6th, which would be only a few weeks from now.

The handset was expected to make it to shelves in the UK a while ago, but it seems that users will have to wait a few weeks more before that happens.

The smartphone is now available for pre-order in the country online via The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy, and both retailers reportedly confirmed the aforementioned September 6th release date.

When released, the smartphone should be available on monthly plans that start at £36 per month, making it more expensive that the HTC Sensation.

However, the latter lacks the third dimension when its photo and video shooting capabilities are involved, although the rest of its specifications are similar to those that HTC EVO 3D sports.

The HTC EVO 3D sports a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of 3D rendering, and sports a fast dual-core application processor for increased performance capabilities.

The mobile phone comes to the market with dual 5-megapixel cameras on the back, which enable users to easily record 3D content while on the go.

The specifications list of the new device also includes 3G connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the like.

The available internal memory of this device can be easily expanded through a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The smartphone runs under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and sports the popular HTC Sense UI on top of it.

The HTC EVO 3D also offers support for applications and games available via the Android Market, as well as for various mobile services from Google.
