Unveiled for the European market only yesterday, the HTC EVO 3D has already started to emerge on the websites of various wireless services providers on the continent, with Vodafone UK being one of them.

The mobile phone carrier is among the first to have confirmed plans to add the new device to its offering, though others will certainly follow as well.

HTC announced that the new device would be released in July, and Vodafone might have it available for purchase on its network next month as well.

For the time being, however, the wireless carrier did not unveil a specific date for the availability of HTC EVO 3D on its network, nor did it provide info on its pricing.

However, we should expect the new mobile phone to be offered for free on certain monthly plans, while the availability period is rumored to start sometime in mid-July.

HTC EVO 3D was already released on shelves in the United States, and is the second 3D-capable handset to be launched after LG came up with its own such device, the Optimus 3D.

The mobile phone was unveiled with a large 4.3" qHD touchscreen display, that can render 3D content without the need of special glasses,

“The future of smartphone cameras has arrived with the HTC EVO 3D. Take photos and shoot video in amazing 3D, then experience both - without the need for special 3D glasses,” the wireless carrier notes.

On the back, the new device sports dual 5MP cameras with support for recording 3D videos in HD, and there is also a front-facing camera for making video calls.

The mobile phone also comes with 1GB of internal memory, and with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

“There's also Gingerbread, the latest version of the Android operating system - plus the newest version of HTC Sense, with features like the customizable active lockscreen that lets you jump to your favorite applications in one step,” Vodafone continues.

Those interested in the purchase of an HTC EVO 3D from Vodafone UK can register their interest on the carrier's website here.
