The new handset was officially unveiled to the world in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, when HTC announced it as arriving with Google's Android 2.1 operating system on board, and now UK users can enjoy its features on T-Mobile's airwaves.
The HTC Desire has been put on sale at T-Mobile UK for free upon the signing of a 24-month contract agreement with the carrier on a £35 per month price plan. Other options are also available for users, yet this is the lowest plan with which the device is offered for free, it seems. For example, the Desire is priced at £164.00 on a £10 per month plan, or at £60.00 on a £30 per month contract for a 24-month period.
