Mobile phone users in Hong Kong interested in the purchase of a new, affordable HTC handset can now choose from no less than three new smartphones, including the HTC Desire 610 and a pink flavor of the Desire 816.

Earlier today, we’ve also seen the dual-SIM Desire 616 being officially announced, but it appears that it is not the only smartphone that HTC is bringing to this market.

The HTC Desire 610 was made official back in February with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as with a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM.

Moreover, the mobile phone features 8GB of internal memory, while also packing a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the handset sports an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, auto-focus, and full HD video recording, complemented by a 1.3MP front camera for making video calls while on the go (it supports 720p videos).

Connectivity-wise, Desire 610 delivers 4G LTE, HSDPA, 42 Mbps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity (carrier-dependant), as well as built-in GPS receiver.

Powered by a 2040mAh battery, the Android mobile phone arrives in Hong Kong with a price tag of HK$2,098 ($271/€199) attached to it, Engadget China reports.

The HTC Desire 816, on the other hand, unveiled in February too (during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona), comes to this market priced at HK$2,998 ($387/€285).

The smartphone features a large, 5.5-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, while being powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, with Adreno 305 graphics.

The handset was made official with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory and, the same as Desire 610, can accommodate memory cards of up to 128GB in size.

On the back, it sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, HDR, and full HD video recording, while featuring a 5-megapixel front camera, capable of delivering an appealing experience when it comes to making video calls while on the go, or taking selfies.

HTC Desire 816 arrives on the market with support for 4G LTE networks, as well as with 3G (HSDPA, 42 Mbps, HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC capabilities inside. A GPS receiver is also present in the package.

The mobile phone runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, while also featuring HTC’s own set of UI customizations loaded on top.
