Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced a while ago the launch of a new Android-powered handset, the HTC Tattoo, which was said to come to the market with a wide range of customization options, including personalized covers. The handset is already available for purchase, and now HTC has also launched a website that enables users to choose customized covers for their Tattoo.

The TattooMyHTC website that just went live offers users the possibility to either choose one of the already existing customized covers or create one of their own. A list with the most popular designs is also present on the website, as is a page where users can see how these designs look on the phone's covers.

“This HTC Service is powered by Subcostume and operated by the Norwegian company Imageware AS. Production is done in Shenzhen, China, and all orders are shipped from here. For corporate customers interested in ordering more than 50 covers, please contact us through the contact form, and we will return to you asap,” the company says about the new service launched for Tattoo owners.

A Design Your Own page available on the website enables users to create more personalized covers for their Android-based mobile phone, in case the already existing designs haven't appealed to them already. Tattoo owners can bring their own photos, text, symbols or background color in order to design a truly personalized cover for their device.

The price for a personalized cover seems to have been set at EUR 14.99, while the existing designs are priced at EUR 11.99. The service is already available in more than 20 countries from Europe, but a global version of the site is also listed there. Those who will order a customized cover for the first time will also be able to use the IMEI code on their handset to receive a 20 percent price cut.
