14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a new handset running under Google's Android operating system have now a new deal available for them for the HTC DROID Incredible 2 smartphone on Verizon Wireless' airwaves.
The handset is available for purchase from Wirefly for only $1.99 with the singing of a two-year contract agreement.
The smartphone was unveiled to the world back in February during the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain.
It was already launched in various markets around the world as the HTC Incredible S, and landed on shelves at Verizon as the Incredible 2, the successor of last year's highly popular HTC Incredible.
It comes with a large 4-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a fast 1GHz Snapdragon application processor, and runs under Google's Android 2.2.1 Froyo operating system.
The mobile phone also sports 1GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.
It also offers support for the wireless carrier's 3G network, as well as for GSM connectivity, and WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, along with built-in GPS receiver.
“The Incredible 2 is just as incredible as its predecessor but with some new and improved features! The larger, 4" Super LCD display makes watching movies and videos even more enjoyable,” the retailer notes.

The HTC DROID Incredible 2 also comes with WiFi hotspot capabilities, with the usual set of sensors, fast uploading to Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace, and other features more.
