Requires three-year agreement or $599.99 (435 EUR) upfront

As expected, TELUS has just introduced the HTC Amaze 4G. The Android smartphone is now available for purchase for as low as $99.99 (72 EUR) with a new three-year agreement.

Customers who want to avoid commitment to a long term contract can get the Amaze 4G for $599.99 (435 EUR) outright.

The carrier offers additional price options for the HTC Amaze 4G: $549.99 (400 EUR) with a new one-year contract and $499.99 (360 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

HTC Amaze 4G is one the latest Android smartphones that features LTE support.

The phone was also introduced in the United States via T-Mobile and is now available for $259.99 (190 EUR) with a new two-year contract.

The smartphone is super-fast when it comes to data speeds and allows users to download and stream apps and media at speeds of up to 42 Mbps.

Moreover, the HTC Amaze 4G is one of the most powerful Android devices available on the market, as the device is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor and packs 1 GB or RAM.

The HTC Amaze 4G has plenty of storage to offer with 16 GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Software-wise, TELUS HTC Amaze 4G is powered by Google's Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0 user interface on top.

We will know if the HTC Amaze 4G will receive the latest Android 4.0 update when HTC will reveal its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade roadmap for all its Gingerbread devices available on the market.

On the back, the HTC Amaze 4G boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while on the front there's a 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

In addition, the phone sports a brilliant 4.3-inch qHD Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.
