Today we brought you news that some HP tablets that were previously introduced back in September have quietly made their way to the US HP online layer. This is the case of the HP Slate8 Pro and the HP Slate10 HD.

The HP Slate8 Pro features an 8-inch screen with a nice resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The producing company has slipped in a 1.8GHz quad-core Tegra 4 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Photography-wise, the device offers an 8MP rear camera and a 720p HD front shooter.

There’s 16GB of internal storage provided and a decent 5680mAh battery (said to be able to provide 11 hours of intense use.) The HP Slate8 ships with Android 4.2 out of the box. The slate is the most expensive of the four devices HP unveiled in September and will set you back with $329.99 / €244.

Moving on, the Slate10 HD features a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The machine is powered by a Marvell PXA968 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and packs two cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front.)

The tablet is supposed to be able to last up to 10 hours of Web surfing and comes equipped with 16GB of storage, while Android 4.2.2 is the default OS. The Slate10 HD can be purchased for $299.99 / €221.
