Back in September, HP pulled the veil off a host of Android tablets, which included the HP Slate7 Plus and Slate7 Extreme. Back then, HP didn’t reveal a whole lot about the specs, but this week the veil has finally been lifted, as the devices have quietly been made available on the US HP online store.

The HP Slate7 Plus comes featuring a 7-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Power is drawn from a 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5MP one on the back and a 0.3MP front snapper. 8GB of internal storage are provided onboard and there’s a 4,000 mAh battery to ensure users get a decent life span out of their slate. The HP Slate7 will ship at the very affordable price of $149.99 / €111.

As for the HP Slate7 Extreme, it comes bundling pretty much the same features, except in the processor department where we find a 1.8GHz quad-core Tegra 4 processor. There’s an upgrade in the internal storage department, with 16GB being provided. The battery is slightly better too, being a 4,100mAh one. For these slight improvements, HP applies a price tag of $199.99 / €148.
