Gigabyte has launched the first PDA phone featuring TV service, probably aimed at the Taiwanese market.

The device runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and provides the best PDA and PIM (Personal Information Management) solutions for business users.

Built-in MS Office suite helps users manage emails and documents when they are out of the office. Besides basic PDA phone functions, g-Smart is equipped with a 2.4 inch TFT LCD touch panel - 262k color, 240 x 320 pixels size, Bluetooth, GPS technology, Wi - Fi and comprehensive English-Chinese two way electronic dictionary, TV/ FM/ MP3/ MPEG4 player, a 2.1 mega pixel camera with video recording function and a free 256MB Mini SD card. Equipped with PaPaGo G10, g-Smart guides you with 3D maps of Taiwan and voice navigation system when traveling. The slider phone with voice commends and hot key simplifies the phone operation.

It is still unclear at the moment on what market the device will be launched in, when, the cost, but it sure looks like an interesting product.
