Hands-on Mobile, an important mobile technology company as well as an award-winning developer and publisher of mobile entertainment, announced the availability of its highly-acclaimed Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile on the Android open-source software platform. Since its first launch in November 2008, the game has exceeded 500,000 downloads in the US, for all mobile platforms.

Rock music lovers that have already purchased their Android-based smartphone will now be able to rock their device, as Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile seems to be the perfect training tool for any would-be rock star. True to its franchise, the game offers very cool features that will most likely thrill its fans.

The highlights of the game include the possibility of playing drums or guitar for every song, real-time head-to-head multiplayer with battle powers, chat with your opponent after the game, high-quality audio recordings never before seen in mobile games, leaderboards, avatars, new songs, and much more.

The graphics of the game won't disappoint either, as Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile for Android has enhanced graphics and features, including use of the accelerometer for "star power," making it faster and easier for users to enable. There are 15 songs included in the first release of the game, but many more will be added monthly and will be available for download. The tracks are stored on the microSD card of the smartphone in MP3 format, so as long as you have storage space you won't have any problems in keeping your music updated.
Some of the most appreciated songs of all times have been included with the game: Lenny Kravitz, "Are You Gonna Go My Way"; Creedence Clearwater Revival,"Up Around the Bend"; Smashing Pumpkins, "Today"; Blondie, "One Way or Another"; Silversun Pickups, "Lazy Eye"; Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Sweet Home Alabama (live)"; No Doubt, "Spiderwebs"; Sublime, "Santeria" and more.

Players can take their Guitar Hero experience beyond the phone and create profiles, download new songs and track player rankings through the game's web companion.
