14 DAY TRIAL // Griffin Technology Inc., one of the post prominent makers of iPod accessories, has unveiled its new Fall lineup for the Apple iPad. The new range of products includes solutions for a wide array of tasks, “from the office to the kitchen and everywhere in between,” the company says.
The products in question are: Standle, AirStrap, Cabinet Mount, Elan Folio, and WaveStand, all of which are purchasable at www.griffintechnology.com, the company’s official web site.
The Standle is described as being more than just your average hard-shell case. According to Griffin, it incorporates a stand for portrait and landscape viewing, a carrying handle, and a typing stand, all in one fold-away protective case.
AirStrap is also a case, but unlike the Standle, it has a built-in safety strap for comfortable one-handed use of your iPad, Griffin says.
It features a molded frame with thick, comfortable, contoured grips that surrounds the tablet, “protecting the edges without getting in the way.”
The Cabinet Mount is designed to hold the iPad at a comfortable height for the user’s eyes and hands. It helps users position their tablet at the best viewing angle. Via the mounting arm, users can rotate their iPad 360 degrees around and 90 degrees front to back.
The Elan Folio allows users to carry their iPad around like it was a personal notebook, Griffin notes.
It offers quick access to the tablet’s display, and closes like a book for privacy and protection.
It also acts as a stand, allowing the user to position it for either landscape or portrait viewing when drawing, typing, or simply watching something on the tablet’s large 9.7-inch screen.
Finally, Griffin’s WaveStand features non-slip grippy surfaces which hold your tablet securely upright in portrait or landscape position. It has an adjustable base that slides out for extra support, and is small and light enough to take with you and use anywhere, Griffin promises.
