Gresso has just unveiled their latest jewels with the Avantgarde Collection. Although less known, this Russian luxury phone producer manages to bring style to a new level by managing to combine good taste with precious metals.

Luxury phones are considered to be more of a show off especially by those who cannot afford it. Moreover, it sometimes proves that these devices emphasize too much the design side and forget to provide performances evolved enough to compete with other high end devices.

Gresso manages to find a balance point between luxurious design and functionality. The Avantgarde Collection brings two new phone models working on Windows Mobile 6, as most evolved smartphones do at this time. Each phone features several unique characteristics that will surely make their buyer feel like the handset they own is one truly special device.

The Avantgarde Sol and Avantgarde Luna phones both come with Roman numerals instead of arabic numbers, one feature never seen before at any other handsets. Another touch of luxury comes on the back panel of the handsets, with the Gresso logo made of gold. The phones are made of African Blackwood and titanium with sapphire crystal displays and also include a 2 megapixel camera for average quality images.

The keypad is also pretty special in the case of both mobile phones. Avantgarde Sol features gold keys, while the Luna model comes with a laser etched keyboard. Moreover, the keyboard has special, scratch-resistant titanic covering that has been developed and patented by Gresso company. The thickness African Blackwood case is only 14 mm, which adds an extra amount of elegance to these comfortable phones.

The price for these mobile phones truly reveal their status of luxury products. The Luna and Sol will be avaialble for USD 6,872 and USD 9,620. For those who can afford it, there is little time left to earn the money for buying such devices. The Gresso Avantgarde Collection will be launched in the fourth quarter 2007.
