Basically, the extra bucks are for a soundtrack CD and a behind-the-scenes art book

$89.99 yes. Care to know why? The GTA IV special edition will include a stylized metal safety deposit box, a copy of the game with special packaging, a behind-the-scenes art book, a soundtrack CD with exclusive tracks, a collectible keychain and a customized Rockstar Games duffle bag, as 1UP reports. However, nothing new is included.

Apparently, pre-orders for the special edition have started today, so if you've got some 90 bucks to spare, go right ahead and order it to make your impressions on Rockstar's famous game as soon as it hits store shelves.

But who is this pre-order for exactly. PS3 owners, Xbox 360 owners or both. Although the two consoles have about the same processing power, certain features are better with the PS3, while others are better with the 360. However, Rockstar is having some trouble with the 360 installment as we found out earlier this month from Creative VP Dan Houser. Rockstar's official told PlayStation Magazine UK that his deepest thoughts concerned technical limitations, when developing GTA IV:

"To be honest with you we haven't solved all those riddles yet" as I found posted on 1UP today. The PS3 was certainly in the question here: "both have enormous challenges ... [and] their own particular pleasures and pains."

There was talk that the 360 wouldn't have enough disk space to support everything a gamer would need with GTA IV. Why? Beats me!

So remember, GTA IV pre-orders have just started. See Rockstar Games' official site for more information, although I doubt many of you will pay so much for the extra good stuff. Even as a true fan, you will see that "now" is all that matters. Sure that behind-the-scenes art book and soundtrack CD sound appealing but the rest of the content isn't all that impressive.
