Grand Theft Auto is one of the biggest names in the gaming industry, generating huge amounts of money every time a major iteration is released. The latest GTA IV title even managed to move over 13 million, setting a lot of sales records.

With the release of the first DLC episode for it, exclusive to the Xbox 360 and entitled The Lost and Damned, Rockstar made even more money, as it quickly became the best-selling DLC ever released on said platform.

As you all know, the second and last of the planned DLC episodes for the Xbox 360 is entitled The Ballad of Gay Tony, and it will put players in the shoes of Luis Lopez, who is balancing his hoodlum adventures with working for nightclub impresario Tony “Gay Tony” Prince.

Now, Rockstar reveals that both The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned will appear as a retail release on October 29. The bundle of the two add-ons will be available in all retail stores and will be disc-based, selling for 39.99 dollars.

The official press release for The Ballad of Gay Tony reveals that “players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.” Coupled with the experience of Johnny Klebitz from The Lost and Damned, these two episodes will certainly be vital to any gamer trying to understand the underground criminal life of Liberty City.

Don't forget that, even though this upcoming episode will be the last, according to Take Two's Ben Feder, there are still plenty of stories left to be told from the virtual city. Look forward to more announcements about these add-ons in the months to come.
