14 DAY TRIAL // She may have skipped the red carpet at last night’s Grammy Awards 2011, but pregnant Kate Hudson still caused a minor frenzy at the awards ceremony, even allowing photographers to snap away at her protruding tummy.
The actress, who was at the ceremony to support rocker boyfriend Matthew Bellamy of Muse, and who is expecting her second child, cut a glamorous figure in a back-less, body tight blue dress.
Not only was she stunning, but she was also kind enough to pose for pictures inside the Staples Center in LA, before the awards show started, PopEater reports.
“Kate Hudson showed up to the Grammys Sunday night to support boyfriend-rocker Matt Bellamy, and she wasn’t shy about showing off her growing belly,” the e-zine says.
“Hudson attended the star-studded event with beau Bellamy, whose band, Muse, performed and later won Best Rock Album. The couple are expecting their first child together later this year,” PopEater writes.
This is officially the first public appearance the two put together as a couple – and their first since confirmation of the pregnancy came.
Throughout the awards, they more than made sure everybody saw just how happy and in love they were – as it was to be expected.
“The duo, who have been quite private regarding their relationship, were uncharacteristically affectionate as they cuddled in their seats before the show began, and Hudson even posed for photos to show off her baby bump,” PopEater notes.
Kate was also photographed speaking to good friend Nicole Kidman, who was also there to show her support to her man, country crooner Keith Urban.
To cap off what must have been an extraordinary evening for Kate and Matt, the rocker thanked her in his acceptance speech for Best Rock Album.
“I’d like to give a special thanks to my beautiful pregnant girlfriend over there,” he said, avoiding to refer to her by name. Not that he needed to be more specific about that, come to think of it.
