This Sunday, at the Grammy Awards 2011, Christina Aguilera will open the show with a song by Aretha Franklin, as part of a tribute to the Queen of Soul herself. She will sing “Ain’t No Way.”

While nominees are busily working on their acceptance speeches in anticipation of the big night, details on the acts that will be performed are emerging online.

The other day, confirmation came that there will be at least three duets: Eminem and Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber and Usher, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Cee Lo Green.

However, perhaps one of the most hyped moments of the night is the opening tribute, which will include, besides Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and Florence Welch.

“Christina Aguilera will be belting out ‘Ain’t No Way’ to open the Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 13),” celebrity e-zine JustJared reports.

“The 30-year-old singer will be participating in a tribute to Aretha Franklin along with Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch, Martina McBride, and Yolanda Adams,” the e-zine further says.

“Christina starts off the performance, followed by Martina with ‘Until You Come Back to Me,’ Florence with ‘Think,’ Jennifer with ‘Respect,’ and Yolanda with ‘Spirit in the Dark’,” JJ writes.

“The ladies close the tribute with ‘Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves’,” the e-zine reports.

A short while ago, word got out in the media that, after the Super Bowl debacle over last weekend, when nerves got the best of Christina and she messed up the lyrics to the National Anthem, she was “terrified” of the upcoming Grammy performance.

To make sure she didn’t get anything mixed up this time, she made sure she would have a teleprompter with the lyrics in front of her, while also rehearsing the song until she was completely happy with it, as we also informed you at the time.

Now that this is out online, hype is already building up for the performances. Until the Grammys, check out Aretha Franklin’s original “Ain’t No Way” below and speak your mind on how you think Aguilera will fare in the comments section.
