For many of us Pandora has become a way of life, being really hard to imagine going throughout a whole day without listening your favorite tunes, so Grace Digital wanted to do us a favor when it introduced the GDI-IR2550p WiFi radio that also packs a set of special Pandora controls.

Grace says these new controls will bring its users the same functionality as that found in their computers and smartphone applications, the GDI-IR2550p radio allowing them to access the thumbs up/down song selection and play/pause functions by pressing just one button.

Apart from this features, listeners can also skip, play, pause, and even bookmark songs directly from the remote and front control panel, Grace's Digital radio being compatible with 50,000 radio stations, podcasts, and on-demand content.

This includes NPR / NPR on-demand, FOX News, CNN, BBC, CBS, iheartradio, NOAA Weather Reports, Live365, KROQ, and Sirius Premium Internet radio.

And if this is still not enough for you, then you will be happy to know the GDI-IR2550p can also stream music directly from your iTunes library thanks to its 802.11b/g WiFi capabilities, Grace's radio being capable of playing back AIFF, AIFC, WAVE, CAF, NeXT, ADTS, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and WMA files without any problems.

Besides the usual remote control that is shipped with this radio, the GDI-IR2550p is also compatible with Grace's own remote control app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

"In the transition of bringing Pandora radio from the computer to the tabletop, most Internet radios lose the simple functions that the computer provided.

"We've created a stylish Wi-Fi enabled tabletop radio with high-grade audio that reflects the same simple and easy-to-use functions of Pandora that are available on the computer," said Grace Digital's CMO, Greg Fadul.

Grace's GDI-IR2550p is available right now for $169.99, a rather steep price for a Internet radio if you ask me.
