Introduced back in April, Google Docs for Android has just been updated new feature called Web Clipboard and support for 45 additional languages.

Google Docs allows Android fans and tinkerers to create, edit, upload and share their documents directly from their Android device.

With the new version, users will be able to easily capture pictures with the Android device and insert them into a Google document.

Thanks to the Web Clipboard feature the process is easier than ever, as users only need to tap the camera icon from the Docs widget on the phone, then capture the photo select Send to Web Clipboard.

To insert the picture simply open the Google document from the computer, click the Web Clipboard icon and select the item to paste into the chosen document. Simply as that.

In addition, Google included a few more new features for the Android app, such as the improved open and send options.

Users can now open their documents with any compatible viewer application or send a doc as an attachment through email or another app on their Android smartphones.

However, it is worth mentioning that the Web Clipboard does not feature an 'offline' mode and a native editor, instead it's web-based.

Last but not least, Google Doc for Android now features support for a total of 46 languages, including English, German, Turkish, Italian, French and more.

Other highlights of the application include: - Edits to your documents appear to collaborators in seconds; - Make quick changes to spreadsheets; - View your documents, PDFs, images and more; - Upload and convert files to the Google Docs format; - Take a photo of printed text and convert it to a Google document; - Share docs with your phone’s contacts.

Google Docs for Android is now available as a free download from Android Market and is compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
